Our company co-founder, Ruth Alvord, moved to Central Florida in 1980, after 21 years in the fashion and design industry in New York State. In 1983, Ruth Alvord and Bob Mason founded RnB Realty Inc., and specialized in East Ocala/Marion County area with emphasis on investment and residential properties in the Ocala National Forest.

Ruth and Bob started with their primary objective, being customer service. They provided agents that honestly cared about their customers and their needs in all aspects of the real estate transaction. They wanted to make sure that the broker would be available to assist the agents and their customers whenever the need arose. They also wanted RnB Realty Inc. to maintain that personalized attention that a hometown office provides while providing large office services such as mortgages, and large scale marketing presence.

Bob has since retired and Ruth’s son Randy Alvord and Rock Sexton have assumed the responsibility of staying focused on the objectives they established when they started the company in 1983.

Since 1983, RnB Realty Inc. has grown from 3 agents in a one room office in the Ocala National Forest to our 10 agents today with our office located in Ocala.
